Victor as Mary's Fears

Ok so i going to start up our first blog. I wanted to compare and contrast some of the qualities between Victor Frankenstein and his creater Mary Shelly. Victor is more involved in the sciences to an extreme amount where Mary Shelly one could say has a slight fear or dislike of the sciences. You can also see how Mary Shelly places here fears into Victors persona. Mary was the daughter of 2 very intelligent people and loving parents as was Victor. However many people felt the becasuse she was the daughter these 2 people that she should be this protogy and im sure that was not easy growing up. So she instilled her fear of failure into her charancter Victor. When he went off to school his professor Krempe dismissed his plans as an alchemist and called it a waste of time he then went and greated the "monster". I think that this is Mary's way of showing that she was afraid that this ghost story would be a waste of her time and that she would not live up to the expectations that people had for her. So when creating this story she had Victor (herself) create a "monster" which represents this novel. The monster then becomes disater like and that is how she see this novel ending up. Its just an idea of what might have been going on in her head while writting this story consiously and unconsiously.
